Sew Me Happy

Assalamualaikum. This is another sewing project that I struggled to complete, and yeay!! I completed it! Blame it on the M word. I can now say that my skills are excellent in making MY OWN modern kurung. It is loose fitting so that I can actually sit on it! Usually my middle part area is so fit to give the illusion of very curvy waist, but lets face it. My waist is far from curvy. Instead of worrying every moment that my clothes are gonna rip off, I'll enjoy free movement AND even running! :) I actually wanna highlight the cuff. I made a 4 inches cuff with three buttons each. I did not follow any specific instruction or pattern, I just use my sample clothes. It is challenging, and yet I am addicted. Will make more and experiment more :) So Sis , start your shopping engine and head out to Kamdar!!

Assalamualaikum... Been so long in a "busy doing nothing" mode... Not that I have too many orders to complete, but another project. Finishing my pending clothes. Most of it was done halfway. Some of it does not fit me any more, so lucky my sister. To count, I have completed 2 modern kurungs, 1 button-down shirt, and 1 butterfly dress. But for now, I show the button-down shirt first, okay :) This is my SIL's shirt. Due to lack of skill in collar, I made what I do best, round collar :D There are some imperfections, but I'm learning... Hopefully the next one will be flawless. Overall, I do enjoy making it!!

Assalamualaikum.. This year, bagaikan naik hantu, I bought so many patterns. Year End Sale lah katakan... So lebih kurang 37 paten semuanya. Hmmm... Last year I only bought ONE, and that is Curvy Clutch. But I am so excited, I'd like to make it my resolution for this year 2012. I'd like to try out ALL 37 patterns!! So I should make 3 different items every month. Wish me luck! This year I feel my business is kinda slow moving, but it's okay. I can work on ready made items, and my ever growing kain pasang.
