More Wristlets

I made another 2 more wristlets for my sister's colleagues. This is the first time I use cotton denim material. I bought it at Daiso in KK for, of course, RM5!

The floral one I use cotton linen, I guess, because it is cotton, and got textures. My mom bought the fabric from a local store.

Medium size
Fully lined and padded
No pockets inside
Straps are not detachable

Baju Melayu Haykal

Another emergency sewing for my 1 year-old nephew, Haykal. His aunty got married last weekend, and I got 3-days for trial and error! But I managed, and even satisfied with the result. 2 pairs of baju Melayu, done!

Cheeky Haykal, love to make faces! Haha..

Oprah's Farewell Season Premier

I missed the train. I know and I don't care. I watched Oprah's Farewell Season Premier last night on DIVA (my new found favorite channel). This is sooo last year. For me, Oprah Show is not about watching the latest issues, but just simply WATCHING it. That is why people still love to watch Oprah reruns. I love watching Oprah reruns.

Last night, Aiman said to me, "Kakak, there are tears in your eyes" and went laughing. And I was like "No. I'm not crying". Obviously. When watching Oprah, who doesn't?

25 years. I practically grew up with this show. But I started watching it right after I finished Form 5. That time, I thought it was the show for housewives, but I continue watching. There are so many information and knowledge I get when watching it. But most importantly, I believe this show nurture my soul over the years.

So for this farewell season, I hope not to miss the show.

Last night recap:

Oprah's gift to her most loyal audience, 300 of them, are a trip to Australia, with John Travolta flying them! Unbelieveable!

A Day Trip To Sipitang, Sabah

Well, this was last month trip, but I just want to share our day trip to Sipitang, my dad's hometown. Ok, yes, it is my hometown too.... My mom, Aiman and I went to Sipitang by boat, and it took 1 hour to get there. We arrived at 10am.

Stopping by to have our breakfast/lunch at an Indian Restaurant. Then straight to the purpose to this day trip. We only got a couple of hours before the 1.30pm boat. It took about several steps, oh, here we were. The shop is on the same block as the restaurant. ^_^.

Yes, these are what my mom scouting for. Unfortunately, they were out of stock! So, back to the terminal.

I could not remember the last time I came to Sipitang. I am amazed at the new development, the Asplanade Sipitang. Now we can see along the beautiful shores. Unlike before, the shores were hidden by blocks of poor old shops.

This boy Aiman, also originated from Sipitang. It is his birth place :)

See the landscape? Oh I love it. I even saw the locals practicing para-gliding / paramotor. It is quite famous here.

My mom and Aiman, with our shopping bag. Aiman was busy with his new watch...

Notice the policemen at the back? I am not sure what to call it, Pondok Polis? Kem Polis? or simply Payung Polis? Anyway, it feel safe when the policemen is at the open like that. Right?

We were at the Sipitang terminal, waiting for 1.30pm boat.

The boat had finally arrived!! Yeay!!

Maternity Sleeveless Tunic

Another tunic ordered by Sem. This time, I made new design with pleat on the front. The pleat gives more room for the growing tummy. I add straps on the sides, and 1 more pleat on the back, just in case :)

I hope you like it, Sem. Thanks.

Ruffle Sleeveless Tunic

My SIL Sem ordered 2 sleeveless tunics last week. She is 3 or 4 months pregnant, so I thought I'll make her a maternity version. This is the same version of sleeveless tunic I made before. The only difference is the ruffles. I always wanted to make those, but I have not found a rolled hem foot for my machine. I thought making ruffle was hard, but then if I don't try, I would never know. This is my first trial, and I love it. I love the color too :)
